Natural Symbiosis

Natural Symbiosis includes selected works by Los Angeles-based artist Tripura. The exhibition features recent 3d motion graphics with sound that explore the materiality of bodies, nature/human interactions, and the synthesis of new life forms that exist in a liminal space between human and non-human.

“My works are inspired by the relationship between the global human body and the body of nature in the future, new forms of life, chimeras, boundless bodies, and interpretations of Love.” — Tripura

Tripura (Maria Agureeva) was born in Ukraine and graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design, and Institute of Contemporary Art, Moscow. Tripura is a winner of a grant from Ruinart Art Patronat and Trust for Mutual Understanding, and a nominee of the Kandinsky Prize. Tripura’s works have been represented in Digital Art Month in Paris, and have been shown at NowHere Gallery in New York, Superchief Gallery NFT in Los Angeles, and at the СADAF Digital Art Fair.
